When a close to friend was diagnosed with skin cancer, Holly Thaggard, set out to learn all about sun exposure. She was shocked to learn that sun damage starts as early as childhood. She realized so few people knew how damaging it actually was. In her research, she found that the number one reason people did not wear daily SPF was because it just didn’t feel good on their skin. Prompting her to create an SPF formula that people would actually want to wear, including her kids and students who often play outside. With a mission to change the way we think about sunscreen, she launched her first ingredient-conscious, feel-good formula (winning a AAD Golden Triangle Award along the way).

Supergoop! successfully took away the sticky, tacky, smelly mess associated with sunscreen. They are continually innovating new products that will turn wearing SPF into a fun habit; they even created the first-ever sunscreen mousse.
