Wildcatter Hotels Of Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires, often referred to as the Paris of South America, has a lot of luxury to offer. Like any city, there are a variety of neighborhoods that offer up their own unique experiences. As far as hotels go, look no further than the the neighborhood of Recoleta. It is one of Buenos Aires’ most affluent neighborhoods, known for Paris-style townhouses, lavish former palaces and posh boutiques. Below, are four worthy hotels for the likes of any Wildcatter.

1. Four Seasons

Enjoy unrivaled views from their contemporary high-rise tower and take in the sophisticated beauty of their legendary early 20th century French mansion. Choose from a variety of suites, the “Presidential Suite” offers up original antiques that evoke 18th-century France vibes and others impress with an old war ambiance. Other perks include an outdoor heated Roman-style pool, state of the art spa, babysitting services, and they even have child sized bathrobes. They definitely go out of their way to make your family comfortable!

2. Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt

This hotel has a very subtle and refined sense of style. Their elegant rooms and suites include a butler service and large bathrooms. The Wellness & Spa center has a pool with ozone-treated water to avoid skin and eye irritation. Not to be missed is their impressive backyard, where you can enjoy meals, drinks, and even Afternoon Tea. Don’t forget to check out their very own art gallery and shops.

3. Alvear Palace

“The distinction of unique style” … their tagline reads. Walking into this hotel is absolutely breathtaking; their elegant architecture and decor radiate regality and luxury. Offering up 5 different dining and bar options, you won’t be disappointed with the high quality of ingredients and service. The Afternoon Tea is highly recommended, situated in a bright salon with high ceilings. Unfortunately, we do not recommend the spa here.

4. Hub Porteño

This boutique hotel stands out due to its smaller size. You are not lost in the mix of every other guest, which can happen with bigger hotels. Here, you immediately feel special and welcomed. They can design unique experiences, based on your tastes and expectations, to connect you to the city. The “Grand Suite” is 1000 square feet with a 400 square feet private terrace and 2 bathrooms wrapped in marble. Enjoy a drink on the rooftop terrace, a green oasis in this bustling city.
