Las Vegas

Elvis impersonators, gambling, and late night partying. The Neon City has it all and is well deserving of its reputation.

STAY

Salon Suite in the Wynn Tower.

FEATURED

Wynn Las Vegas

Wynn/Encore Hotels, built by Steve Wynn, are a set of luxury hotels located on the strip. The highest rated resort company in the world with 13 Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards, both hotels set the standard of luxury and first rate service. For Wildcatters visiting Vegas, there is really no other option for accommodation.

Encore Las Vegas

Gamblers under 35 might feel more at home at the Encore hotel, a younger, hipper version of the Wynn. Both hotels are connected by a pathway of luxury shopping options. The Salon Suite in the Encore Tower is also a solid option.

RESTAURANTS

SW Steakhouse

Winner of the Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award, this is the place “where all the beautiful people hang out.”

Wildcatter Hint- Request patio seating to get a better view of the water show.

RESTAURANTS

Mizumi

Another Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Award winner, this Japanese restaurant has a wide selection of food and drink.

Wildcatter Hint- When making your reservation, ask for the table by the 90-foot waterfall.

Wildcatter Tip

Every single restaurant at the Wynn and Encore hotels offers vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. You may even see Mr. Wynn, a practicing vegan, eating at a table nearby!

ACTIVITIES

Spa at the Encore

Visiting the Encore spa is well worth the short indoor walk from the Wynn side. This luxurious spa has great service, top-notch facilities, and makes for a truly relaxing experience every time. A reservation for any spa service grants you access to the spa for the entire day, so reserve early and spend an afternoon in the sauna and sipping champagne in the hot tub.

ACTIVITIES

Le Rêve

This spectacular performance is the Wynn’s version of a water themed Cirque du Solei show. Reserve VIP tickets to get a bottle of champagne and gourmet truffles and chocolates to go with the show! As an added bonus, VIP seats are equipped with private monitors showing behind-the-scenes views of the performers.

ACTIVITIES

Renting a Private Pool Cabana

Tower Suite guests get access to an even more exclusive pool area on the property, but reserving a private pool cabana is a new level of luxury. A private shaded area complete with a mini-fridge, personal lounge chairs, overhead misters, and a designated waitstaff, this can easily make for an all-day activity. The best located cabanas get booked early, so make a reservation as soon as you’ve confirmed your room reservations!

EAT

DINNER

Alizé

At the top of the Palms Ivory Tower, this Michelin Star restaurant pairs mouth-watering French cuisine with a spectacular view of the city. Their menu changes sporadically, but starting (or ending!) with a cheese plate is a sure win.

DINNER

Picasso Restaurant

A Michelin Star restaurant at the Bellagio Hotel, this is another French eatery with a delicious selection of food and cocktails. What makes this place extra special is the selection of Picasso masterpieces adorning the walls.

DINNER

Joël Robuchon

This elegant and modern restaurant located at the MGM Grand has three Michelin Stars to its name. They serve a glorious selection of French tapas paired with an even more glorious wine selection. We recommend blocking off a few hours to do the chef’s tasting menu.

PLAY

Production Shows

Absinthe (R-rated), Blue Man Group, La Rêve, and Zumanity by Cirque du Soleil (nudity warning) are all solid options. We recommend Absinthe at Caesars.

Wildcatter Hint: It’s worth the extra few dollars for front row seats to Absinthe to increase your chances of being part of the improvised show.

Concerts

Elton John, Human Nature, Britney Spears…there’s always some big names headlining in Vegas! Check the schedule to see who will be in town when you are.

Carrot Top

Carrot Top has been headlining at the Luxor since 2005 and Vegas does not keep you around unless you make them money. Award winning comedian & thoroughly enjoyable show – it’s slightly different every time!

The Neon Musem

This quirky museum is basically an outdoor neon sign graveyard. All tours are guided; you are not allowed to to view or guide yourself and advance purchase of tickets is recommended because they sell out tours quickly. Avoid afternoon or summer tours where temperatures can easily climb in to the 100+ temperatures as there is no shade.

Afternoon Tea at The Mandarin Oriental

Have afternoon tea service with one of the best views in town. The view alone is worth the experience, but the funky menu selections are almost too pretty to eat. This is one of our favorite tea services in the country.

The High Roller

Have cocktails on a 550 foot tall ferris wheel – this view is fantastic! Make sure to book a ride on the Cocktail Pod and enjoy the ride.
