On October 20th, 2018, Wildcatters Network held a launch party for its latest endeavor, the creation of a record label: Dean Dillon’s Wildcatter Records. The project is a collaboration between Wildcatters Network and country music legend, Dean Dillon. The first artist to be signed to the record label is Sundance Head. Sundance won season 11 of the Voice as a member of Team Blake Shelton and is considered by many to be the founder of soul country. His debut single on Dean Dillon’s Wildcatter Records, Leave Her Wild, was released earlier in the month and the music video debuted on CMT on October 19th.
The launch party was held in Midland, Texas and both Dean Dillon and Sundance Head were in attendance. After a cocktail hour and dinner, both Dean and Sundance treated the guests to an intimate acoustic show. Wine for the event was provided by Blackbird Vineyards and beer was provided by Tall City Brewery, both of which are Network investments. It was truly a magical evening!
