If we had to recommend just one restaurant for fine dining in San Francisco it would definitely be Sons & Daughters. We had the pleasure of dining here recently and it is now one of our top fine dining experiences ever!
Located in the heart of downtown, the dining room wraps around a lively open kitchen, which plays an active role in the dining experience. The tasting menu is influenced by the seasons and unique elements of local farms in the surrounding Bay Area and Northern California. The approach to the food is thoughtful, delicate, and displays clarity of ingredients.
The service was great, the food tremendous, but best of all not more than a minute would go by until the next course was brought out. Now that kind of service is something we do not experience very often! Next time you’re in San Fransisco, make it a priority to eat at Sons & Daughters and you will not be disappointed.
