The largest tract of land in the Wildcatters Network purchase of 200 acres in West Odessa was a 140-acre tract located on the corner of Knox and 3rd Street. We were approached with a deal opportunity by a very impressive young man by the name of Martin Carrasco. Martin is a Ph.D. scientist from Notre Dame that moved back home to Odessa to raise his family. Martin strongly believed there was a real need in the market for 1 acre lots that were fully developed with roads, electricity, water, and septic. The Wildcatters Network agreed to partner with Carrasco and test his theory by developing Phase 1 of the Martaca Land Development using 11 acres out of our 140 acres. The Wildcatters Network was very pleased with the results, as well as our relationship with Martin Carrasco, therefore we have entered into an agreement for a Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the project.
Martaca Land Development
Martaca is another perfect example of betting on the jockey over the horse. This was such a good deal, we've already negotiated a next phase.
