After eight years in development and nearly a year of production, investors in the independent Texas film, The Iron Orchard, were finally able to see the finished product. The film was privately screened for investors on April 5th, 2018 in Midland, Texas.
The Wildcatters Network was absolutely blown away by the film. The story was enthralling, the actors nailed their roles, the soundtrack was brilliant, and the production value was nothing short of spectacular. The Network is beyond proud to be an executive producer of this movie.
The after party, which featured great food, drinks, and music, was attended by stars Lane Garrison and Rooster McConaughey, as well as director Ty Roberts.
The Iron Orchard is the story of Jim McNeely, a young man thrust into the vibrant and brutal West Texas oilfields circa 1939, who works his way through the ranks to ultimately become a formidable wildcatter.
