The matriarch of the Musk family is not only responsible for raising an entire family of entrepreneurs, she also a successful businesswoman in her own right. Maye juggled an international modeling career and a handful of business ventures all while raising her three children on her own. While she is still an active model, her main business interests now lie in her own diet and nutrition company.
Elon
Eldest child of Maye and Errol Musk, Elon is the most financially successful of this Musk family. An innovator, entrepreneur, and philanthropist, his companies SpaceX and Tesla have made countless headlines over the years. Elon is a special breed of Wildcatter who seeks to drive the progr†kess of humanity with his inventions and he is especially focused on space technology and alternative energy.
Kimbal
The middle child of the Musk clan is another successful entrepreneur, renowned restaurateur, and active philanthropist. Like his brother, Kimbal is a social entrepreneur and has a strong humanitarian component to his work. His various business ventures and nonprofits are seeking to change the way people consume food and promote real, unprocessed food access. He also sits on the board of several of Elon’s companies.
Tosca
The only daughter of Maye and Errol is also a prominent filmmaker, producer, and director. Her film and web projects have earned her several awards and like her brothers, she is engaged in many philanthropic endeavors. She is also an entrepreneur in her own right, and is currently building her own media streaming service company.
Lyndon Rive
The son of Maye’s twin sister was raised with the Musks together as a sibling by the two sisters so it’s no surprise this Musk cousin is also a mega successful mover and shaker. Lyndon started his own software company at 17 and has been involved in several successful ventures since, including co-founding the clean energy firm SolarCity, of which Elon is a major investor. His resume is full of other small entrepreneurial ventures and business collaborations with his cousins.
