Southeastern Wyoming and Northeastern Colorado’s premiere bison ranch is located just south of Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Magic City of the Plains. Straddling the Colorado and Wyoming state line, the ranch sprawls across 27,500 acres of picturesque rolling hills and is home to over 20,000 American Bison.
There is a passenger train that takes visitors on a loop through part of the ranch and right through a herd of buffalo at the end. There are buckets of treats on the train for visitors to feed to the buffalo while learning about the history of the ranch from the conductor.
The ranch also features a fantastic restaurant called Senator’s Steakhouse & Brass Buffalo Saloon. With a full bar and menu served all day, Senator’s is a great treat after an educational bison train ride. Dish favorites at the steakhouse include Bison Short Ribs, Chicken Fried Bison Steak, and Bison Burgers.
Terry Bison Ranch is perfect for people and families looking for fun in a western setting. Just 90 miles north of Denver, Terry Bison Ranch is an adventure awaiting the adventurer.
